DALE HARDY
"The artworks I make are free from attachment to any fixed narrative, yet rely on you, the viewer, to take what is implied in the syntax of each piece to bring interpretation and meaning, driven by what you bring personally to each work. In fact, I feel I am simply a facilitator and a short-term custodian of an idea and a physical representation of a feeling, which will eventually find a new place to be.
I consider the works to be meditations as much as I consider them to be paintings, sculptures or visual images and they are ultimately an invitation to ponder, question and bring your own interpretation of how you experience the work. The nature of these works and the elements within, with intense colour, shape, scale, size, and orientation, are intended to elicit an emotional response regarding the world you live in and the relationships you have both personally and professionally."
